Christian Women's Job Corps

Christian Women's Job Corps® - A Ministry of WMU

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

The Christian Women's Job Corps of Austin was established in 1998 to assist
women in their search for self-sufficiency.   We provide life skills instruction,

work search skills training, basic computer skills training, Bible study, and Prayer

in a 10 week classroom setting. The cornerstone of our program is in providing a

life coach for each participant for six months. All of these services are free to our
participants.

     Volunteers are needed to…

… teach job search and life skills classes

          … serve as life coaches

… be a part of a fundraising team

          … provide administrative/office support

          … lead a Bible study in a participant’s home

     Donations are needed…

          … snacks for the classroom

          … household cleaning supplies

          … personal hygiene items

          … office/school supplies

… house hold and furniture items

Your group/Sunday School class could support CWJC by…

          … doing a church-wide cell phone/inkjet cartridge drive

… hosting a banquet and silent auction

… prayer walking our classroom site

… advocating for CWJC to be added to your church’s Missions or

               Women’s Ministry budget
