OPPORTUNITY: A CONSTRUCTION  MISSION PROJECT

   Men and boys across Texas will soon be working to help purchase tools (listed here) to send to our IMB mission workers in Sudan. These tools will be gifts for men who have completed a course in basic construction work offered by your missionaries. Good quality tools are not available in Sudan. The course and these tools will accomplish two things: The opening of doors for sharing the gospel with Sudanese men, and enabling these men to help rebuild their country after the many years of violence and destruction they have endured.

    For security reasons, we cannot print the names of the IMB missionaries who will be distributing the tools, but many of you know them or have heard them speak in Austin area churches. Please consider helping in this important project by asking your Missions Committee, your RAs if you have them, or Sunday School classes to simply collect donations or organize efforts to help provide the means for this vision to become a reality.  If you wish to purchase a set of the tools listed to show your people what their money can buy, please do so. However, the remainder of the tools will be purchased at one time by Texas Baptist Men. Please handle moneys through your church and send one check to Austin Baptist Association, designated for Texas Baptist Men Sudan Tool Project. These funds should be submitted by March 15.
